Patch Information In HPUX

1. Patch names always start with the characters PH.
2. Next 2 characters show the patch type.
   Here are the types ...
   a. Command Patches - CO
   b. Kernel Patches       - KL
   c. Network Patches    - NE
   d. Subsystem Patches - SS
3. After this, there is an underscore and a 4 or 5 digit patch number
4. You have to reboot the system after the kernel patch installation.
